When I joined The Office Web as their fractional CMO, their goal was clear. They wanted to develop a new platform to give creators a way to own their work. Not just post it. Not rent space on someone else’s platform. Own it.

That was the core idea behind Contnt.

WARNOCKULAR helped shape this idea from brand narrative and positioning to the way creators and fans would experience it online. It wasn’t just about a new creator platform. It was about building a space where creativity, community, and control could actually coexist.

Why Contnt Needed to Exist

Most platforms sell attention. They make money on views and ads. The creators, the ones who make the actual content, get what’s left. We didn’t want that.

Contnt was built for people who value substance over noise. Dancers. Musicians. Gamers. Writers. People who create because they can’t not create. Our job at WARNOCKULAR was to turn that vision into something that worked: simple, honest, and built around the idea of ownership.

Using Blockchain the Right Way

Blockchain isn’t the story. It’s the structure. At the time, a lot of companies were hyping “Web3” without explaining what it actually did for people. We took a different approach. We used blockchain to make sure creators kept ownership of their work. That’s it.

Smart contracts handled payments automatically. Royalties went to the right people. Transactions were transparent. No middlemen. No hidden cuts. It made trust part of the system instead of a feature we had to promise.

Building New Ways to Earn

Contnt’s biggest strength was its model. Creators could earn in different ways; memberships, pay-per-view, partnerships, and NFTs.

Every piece of content could live beyond a single post. It could be resold. Shared. Collected. Monetized in ways that made sense for the person who made it.

We designed the brand story around that idea: You make, you own, you earn. That simple.

Designing for Real People

WARNOCKULAR’s role wasn’t just messaging. We worked on the full experience; how creators onboarded, how they interacted with fans, how the platform felt.

We wanted Contnt to feel like a community, not a store. Every decision came back to one thing: Does this give creators more control, or take it away? If it didn’t give them more control, it didn’t make it in.

A Shift from Hype to Meaning

Platforms like TikTok are built around trends. That’s fine. But Contnt was about something slower, deeper. It was built for creators who cared about what they made and wanted to be paid fairly for it. We helped shape that message so it didn’t sound like marketing, it sounded like truth. Because it was.

What We Learned

Working with The Office Web and Contnt taught us that technology means nothing without purpose. You can have the smartest system in the world, but if it doesn’t serve people, it fails.

We still use that lesson. Whether we’re working on a wellness brand, a digital platform, or a startup idea, we ask the same question: Who does this help, and how?

That’s where good design starts. And that’s why Contnt worked.
